Text Box: Maidens Program The GGG Maidens Program is open to all school age girls, and is especially geared to the 10-16 year old age group. Fun, age appropriate activities are planned that focus on empowering young women, and encouraging them to follow their own spiritual paths while living in a primarily Judeo/Christian society. The 2005 Maidens Workshops will incorporate: The magickal and medicinal uses of herbs Goddess Lore Being an effective instrument for Peace Color Magick Personal safety Energy raising, and ritual dance Elder Wisdom Text Box: Program Coordinator The Maidens Program is administered by Amber Hallacy. Amber became interested in Pagan and occult studies in her early teens, and has been a practicing Witch for 30 years. Inspired by the strong women in her family, who worked closely with the Earth as Farm Wives and Herbalists, and by her Celtic heritage, she began an exploration of various alternative Spiritualities, always seeking to learn more. Amber is a follower of the Faerie Faith, a member of Sisterhood of Avalon, Yr Afal Aelwydd (The Apple Hearth) of Joplin, Mo., and a member of the Sisterhood of the Silly.
